WELCOME TO THE MILLWOODS MINOR FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION WEBSITE...

We hope this effort adds to a great experience for you throughout the Football Season. Your input is greatly appreciated as we try to make this website a useful tool. Please "contact us" if you find something is incorrect or missing.

VOLUNTEERS! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!...

We especially need volunteers for the concession on game days. But, we need other people for other efforts, as well.

From year to year, we have a serious shortage of people who are willing to work. There are a select few that end up doing an inordinate amount of work to keep this association running. If you are willing to help, we need you. Your children need you. We do this for the children. And, the more help we get, the easier it is for everyone. Plus, you'll find yourself working alongside a higher calibre of people than you may be used to. They are great people. You could be one of them.

To volunteer, select "MMFA Staff" from the Navigation Menu and email your info to our Volunteer Director, Bev Havens.

REMEMBER THE BEAR DEN...

Support the Association by purchasing your concessions through the BEAR DEN; Bear Wear, Snacks and more can be found in the Bear Den. Plus, plan for lunch at our local games barbecue; another fun and reasonable way to support our teams.

To both raise funds and develop a spirit of community, we ordered some great articles of clothing, caps and pins, etc. for sale. Please support Millwoods Football by flying the MMFA Flag through your apparel.

The Bear Den now has hoodies and fleece hats for sale.

Also, check the LOST & FOUND for missing water bottles, chairs, umbrellas, clothing, etc.

SMOKING ON THE SIDELINES...

Even though we are outside, some people are still quite sensitive to cigarette smoke, therefore we are asking smokers to be thoughtful by stepping back from the sidelines (approximately 30 feet) when smoking, so as to keep the area smoke free. We ask you to also be aware of the wind direction; stepping back if you're upwind, won't help anyone. We hope this request will help avoid having to develop a non-smoking policy or by-law.

SIDELINE ABUSE OF OFFICIALS...

The CDMFA will tolerate NO fan abuse of officials or any on-field participants at its events.

Please be aware there are no spectators allowed at field level during game play. Should this occur, the game will be stopped immediately. Our videographer has been instructed to be watchful of instances of fan abuse during the game.

Member Clubs are reminded that, at the end of the day, they are ultimately responsible for the conduct of their fans. Officials may, at their discretion, impose on-field penalties or other appropriate sanctions, as they would for any other infraction.
