We would like to congratulate our two former Grizzly players: Quarterback, Jesse Schneider, and Receiver, Rick LeMoignan, and their North team on their 23-15 win over the South team at the 23rd Annual Senior Bowl High School Football All-Star Game which will took place yesterday, May 21st at Foote Field.

** — For practices this week:
– Atoms will be practicing on Thursday, May 24th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
– PeeWees will be practicing Wednesday, May 23rd and Thursday, May 24th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
– Bantams will not be practicing this week as the Coaches are involved with the Alberta Summer Games tryouts this week
– all teams will then be Monday and Thursday, and beginning June, will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
– Please remember that we do not practice in the month of July and that we will resume practices in August.**
** Practices are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30, unless team managers say otherwise. Games will start in mid August. **

For those of you new to Mill Woods Minor Football Association, we would like to welcome you and let you know that, the Bear Den is a trailer, located at the Mill Woods Park, 7008 – 23 Avenue. You can access it from 28th Avenue by the east side of Holy Trinity High School. Please note that the parking lot, just north of 23th Avenue, is still closed due to construction of the new parking lot.
